Gus and I are looking for company to reopen Mt. Haggin! Anybody that wants to groom please respond with your availability.

Mt. Haggin got dumped on in this last storm. When we left Friday the gauge was down to 2.5 feet, but after a warm afternoon, today it was still above 3 feet. It's heavy snow so we are going to have to make an initial pass with the old Tidd-Tech/rollers. At the same time we could set out the bamboos in the usual places. When the next blow comes we'll be in trouble without them.

Gus and I worked on the bucket list. All three implement electrical systems are good to go. We did a Rube Goldberg fix on the Skandic 800 EFI kill switch and it functions as good as new! The old Skandic is out of service for the time being. We found the lighting coil and voltage regulator AOK, but both halogen bulbs are kaput. Go figure! We had to tear into the hood underpinnings to get at the bulbs, and since we have to acquire the new bulbs, we left the machine torn down in the small container. It will take an hour or more to put it all back together. Bombardier shame on you! Things like headlamps should be straightforward to replace. Not on the 2-stroke Skandic.

Even though skiers were bushwhacking today, they we all very enthusiastic and thanked us for our efforts. There were quite a bunch of skiers and snowshoers out, even though the Anaconda-Deer Lodge road crew had a day off. MT 569 was treacherous.
