We replaced the tracksetter control switch on the Skandic 800 EFI. We freed up the actuator on the Brickert Ginzu tracksetter. We replaced the 6-way plug on the Brickert VK. We tried to troubleshoot the lights on the 2-stroke Skandic without success. We didn't have the schematic with us, but after checking it at home, it is a straight run from the voltage regulator to the lights. Since multiple filaments are not lighting, we must have a broken feed wire, a bad regulator, or bad lighting coil.
If I am reading the schematic correctly, the battery is only on the charging/lighting circuit when the ignition switch is in the Run position. Therefore the lights should come on when the ignition switch is in the Run position, even if the regulator/lighting coil part of the circuit is bad order (or the engine isn't running).
