Grooming Schedule 22 Feb 2013

I don't know what precip we had over the week, but Kathy said you had a big crowd over the weekend, so things probably got beat up.  The Idaho Falls Ski Club is making their annual visit.  As warm as it is supposed to get tomorrow, I wonder if we should start at 8:00?  Also, we are supposed to get snow tomorrow night, so we might want to consider waiting till, or a refresh on Saturday.  What do you guys think?

As I receive membership applications, there are notes written on many of them this was this months from Cindi Costin:

Grooming schedule for Friday February 15th.  Plan to start 9;am as usual.  We have had a lot of wind so there will be lots of drifts to deal with.  

Grooming schedule for Friday, February 8th, 2013.  Lets start at 9:am.  It looks like Jim Gleason will be out for the rest of the season. We have two new possible groomer helpers with Matt Fischer and Rich Day.  For this Friday I will be there with John and Matt.  I'm assuming Mark and Ray will be there.  I'll visit with Rich to see if he can help February 15.  Paul

Jim Gleason and John Ericson have to take the day off.  Since Mark is returning to duty, we should have four groomers: Paul, Ray, Mark and I.  We had several more inches at Jerry Creek since Tuesday, so I imagine we'll have snow to work with at Mt. Haggin. See you at 9:00.

Who is up for for grooming tomorrow?  We had a dusting last night at Jerry Ck - hopefully Mt. Haggin got more.  The temp is supposed to top off at 26, so we should have good grooming conditions.

We will have a small crew tomorrow as Paul is taking a "postman's holiday" and going snowmobiling, probably with a Pioneer Mountain's lake as a destination for a little fishing.  John Ericson also has other commitments and Mark is on the injured list.   

Paul is going up today to mount a base for weights on the Ginzu tracksetter, and he plans to groom Sugarloaf while he's there.  Most likely the Thursday night crew will groom Crooked John and Wulf's Cutoff.  Therefore we should only have to trackset Crooked John, Wulf's Cutoff, the parking lot to the warming hut, and then groom Li'l Cal, Sleepy Hollow, and Gus's Gas.

Ray, Jim, and Mark if you've been released, please acknowledge, and see you at 9:00.

John
